Mission of the Technical and Civil Engineering Department of the Historic Fabric District

– Issuing building permits, completion certificates, and certificates of no violation for applicants within the area under supervision and control of engineers overseeing urban construction projects

– Supervising the affairs of supervising engineers and certifying the signatures of owners and engineers in offices

– Determining the extent and manner of violations committed against building permits or buildings without permits by the owner, and completing and referring the violation project to the competent authorities

– Reviewing and implementing urban planning regulations in accordance with current national regulations

– Handling and presenting building violation cases in the relevant commissions

– Reviewing and acting on the city’s comprehensive and detailed plans

– Supervising construction operations within the district area in compliance with urban planning regulations and the Engineering System Law, in accordance with the city’s comprehensive and detailed plans, in coordination with the supervision department and preventing unauthorized construction

– Performing other assigned duties as instructed by superiors
