The Arak Municipality's Visual, Landscape, and Green Space Organization has begun specialized pruning operations on dry branches across the city in order to improve public safety and protect tree health, and the work is currently underway.
This operation, which is carried out with the change of season and the arrival of autumn, is performed with the aim of improving tree health and preventing dry branches from falling due to strong winds during this season.
Pruning dry branches in the autumn season is one of the vital measures in green space management. In addition to enhancing visual beauty, this operation prevents the spread of diseases and pests from diseased branches to other parts of the tree.
Proper pruning in this season, in addition to better tree growth, helps balance the tree and prevents damage to urban infrastructure such as power lines and lighting equipment.
