Mohsen Khairmand, the deputy for social affairs and crime prevention of the Central Province Judiciary, stated: with a specialized and guild-based perspective, people active in the street markets will be identified and registered by providing their details, and the purpose of this measure is proper organization in order to serve citizens and determine the cost of the place for offering goods and products, not to eliminate street markets. The deputy for social affairs and crime prevention of the Central Province Judiciary added: the task force unanimously announced its approval regarding the new location for Arak's street market and also the increase in the minimum price in exchange for providing better welfare services to street market operators. Khairmand emphasized: the municipality's cost for every three meters of street market space for each applicant was set at 500,000 rials, and for fruit sellers, due to having waste, at 800,000 rials. The deputy for social affairs and crime prevention of the Central Province Judiciary pointed to increased supervision by Arak Municipality over the type of guild active in the street markets and stated: the municipality must issue identification cards for people active in the street market and provide the maximum welfare facilities for them in the shortest time possible, and also, in order to decentralize from the city center, the turnover and dispersion of street markets should be given special attention, and with precise and high-level supervision by municipal executive officers and cooperation with the police force, street markets should be located away from roads in order to reduce traffic risks and damages, and the locations of street markets should also be created with special attention to preserving the dignity of street market vendors.
