According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Arak Metropolitan Municipality, in line with supporting elite sports and developing sports infrastructure, the metropolis of Arak hosted the one-week training camp of the national youth karate team. At this sporting event, Dr. Alireza Mahmoudi, mayor of Arak metropolis, and Ghafari, head of the City Islamic Council, met with coaches and elite karate athletes and emphasized the importance of investing in young talent in international arenas. This one-week camp was an opportunity for the youth of Iran to continue their training in Arak and prepare for future achievements.
