🚒 Hidden heat inside the car; a danger that should not be ignored
As the air temperature rises, leaving certain items in a car can create a fire hazard.
☀️ Did you know?
On hot days, the cabin temperature of a car parked in the sun can reach 60 to 70 degrees Celsius. This heat increases the pressure inside items such as lighters and aerosol sprays, raising the risk of explosion or fire.
⚠️ Do not leave these items inside the car:
🔸 Gas lighters
🔸 Pressurized sprays
🔸 Power banks or damaged batteries
🔸 Flammable materials and solvents
🧯 Carrying a standard one- or two-kilogram fire extinguisher in the car can help prevent the fire from spreading in the first few minutes and reduce damage.
✅ A few important tips:
• Park the car in the shade whenever possible.
• Avoid keeping lighters and sprays inside the car.
• Periodically check the fire extinguisher for condition and recharge date.
• If you see smoke or fire, first protect the passengers' lives and immediately call 125.
Prevention is the best way to deal with incidents.
