According to the City news and analysis website, the meeting to design the مقدمات for implementing the memorandum of understanding on management and optimization of energy consumption in Tehran was held today - Saturday, the third of Mordad 1405 - with the حضور of Alireza Zakani, Mayor of Tehran, and Esmail سقاب Esfahani, Vice President and Head of the Organization for Energy Optimization and Strategic Management, along with a group of managers.

Under this memorandum, the management, leadership, and implementation of electricity, gas, and liquid fuel consumption optimization projects in Tehran will be delegated to Tehran Municipality. The goal of implementing this plan is to reduce energy consumption through citizen participation, increase efficiency, improve urban resilience, and implement consumption management programs in various sectors; a plan that will soon begin in the capital after the preliminary implementation arrangements are finalized.

Alireza Zakani, Mayor of Tehran, referring to the urban management approach in solving the capital's major issues, said: In the urban management set, running the city with a modern perspective has been placed on the agenda, and combating pollution as the biggest problem of Tehran is one of our most important priorities. In this path, development measures based on advanced approaches have been pursued and the main bottlenecks have also been identified clearly.

He added: The existing technical capacities in all fields can play a special role in advancing this program. Alongside implementation measures, the issue of culturalization is also highly important, and we believe the success of this plan requires simultaneous attention to both implementation and culturalization.

The Mayor of Tehran, emphasizing the importance of this approach, stated: This path is the beginning of a major transformation for the country. The perspective that today, by God's grace, prevails in the set of Dr. سقاب Esfahani and that he is pursuing with seriousness can be the source of a fundamental transformation at the national level.
