According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Arak Metropolitan Municipality, a specialized meeting to examine the role of processes in revising the organizational chart was held with the aim of updating the organizational structure and aligning it with the municipality’s overall goals.

At this meeting, the fundamental concepts of process analysis, identification of key processes, and their impact on the arrangement of units and organizational positions were discussed and reviewed.

The Deputy for Planning and Human Capital Development of Arak Metropolitan Municipality, referring to the importance of reforming a process-based structure, stated: A dynamic organizational chart is a true diagram of the workflow in an organization. Any structural revision will be effective only when it is based on the precise identification of processes and, in a sense, the duties and performance of each position, the elimination of parallel activities, and the definition of clear responsibilities; otherwise, merely changing the chart will not create any change in performance.

He added: In the modern approach, processes are first mapped and analyzed, and then the organizational structure is designed accordingly; this will prevent duplication of work and increase efficiency in providing services to citizens.

It is worth noting that topics such as modern organizational structure models, diagnosis of the current organizational chart, methods for implementing a process-based system, and indicators for measuring the effectiveness of the new structure were discussed and exchanged, and attendees analyzed examples of the organization’s ongoing processes and presented corrective suggestions for the arrangement of units.
